We’ve added a new workspace role: Workspace Contributor.
Contributors can view and interact with workspace data, and use all available workspace tools. However, they cannot add or remove content from the workspace.

We’ve introduced Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to provide an extra layer of security for your account. All users (except those logging in via Single Sign-On) now need to enter a verification code in addition to their password when signing in. For full instructions, see our MFA setup guide.

Superadmins can now push content to all workspaces in a project, directly from the Content page. Learn how the feature works here.

In June 2025, we gave the Platform an upgrade. This included lots of new features, enhancements and upgrades to existing functionality. These changes are listed below.

Create a space to work with your team, the whole project, or even try something out on your own. Workspaces allow you to clear the clutter and focus on what you need.

You can now manage the access controls on your project, its data, and workspaces. Make sure the right people are seeing the right things by setting up data permissions.

Managing your data is now easier with our centralised content page.

Project admins can set up user groups to streamline managing access and permissions.

When you upload a photo that has location metadata, it will become a photo markup, which you can see in your scene.

You can now add buffers to any 2D line markup in your project.

Comment on any piece of content in your project to keep up with your team.

Presentations have had an upgrade. We've given them a new look and feel and made the creation and management much easier.

We've extended our CDE sync so that it now brings over all of our compatible file types, including orthomosaics and pointclouds.

Markups now exist across both environments. Anything you create in 2D can be seen in 3D and vice versa. All existing markups will automatically be visible in both.

This change is due to low adoption; the crop tool has been deprecated. However, if you require this capability, it’s still available via a Professional Services request. Raise the request with our support team, and we’ll take care of it.
