What is Content?
The Content page is where all project data is stored, managed, and organised. Its purpose is to organise project data and apply access controls, rather than to visualise the data. You can upload, stream, sync, or mark up project data within Sensat.
From within Workspaces, you can access Content to select a subset of your project data for visualisation. For more information on how to add Content to Workspaces, see here.
What Data can I add to Content?
You can manually upload a variety of file types directly into Content using the Add Content button within folders. See a full list of accepted file types here.
Georeferenced images from other systems such as ArcGIS Enterprise, GeoServer and MapServer can be streamed into Sensat using Web Map Services (WMS) and Web Map Tile Services (WMTS). Learn more here.
Data can be synced from your CDE into Content. You can find out more here.
Markups created inside of Workspaces can be pushed into Content so they can be organised and available for access in other Workspaces. Learn how to publish Markups here.
What data can I see in Content?
When you access the Content page, you will see all the data you have at least "Can View" access to. Your ability to interact with the data depends on the level of access you’ve been granted.
To check your permissions on a folder or its items, you can use the Manage Access feature. Here, you'll be able to view and adjust the access controls for specific content.
Find out more about Permissions and managing Access Levels here.
How does data get from Content to Workspaces?
Content can be added to a Workspace via the Scene Manager, learn how to do this here.
When you add content to a Workspace, it creates a reference to the original data. Any changes made to this content in one location will be reflected across all references to that content.
