Sensat has three access levels that determine what users can do and see within the platform: project-level, workspace-level, and content-level. Each level has its own set of permissions, which define specific actions users can take.
Project-level permissions
Project-level permissions control what users can do within a project and are determined by their assigned project role. For example, Project Admins can invite new members and create user groups, while Project Members cannot.
There are three project roles:
Project Guest – limited access.
Project Member – standard access, can contribute to the project but with restrictions.
Project Admin – full control, including managing users and project settings.
By default, new users are invited as Project Members.
Workspace-level permissions
Workspace-level permissions define what users can do within a workspace, such as setting the default view or creating markups.
There are three workspace roles:
Workspace Guest – can view content but can't make modifications.
Workspace Member – can contribute to workspace activities.
Workspace Manager – has additional permissions to manage workspace settings.
By default, users are invited as Workspace Members.
Content-level permissions
Content-level permissions determine what data users can see and how they can interact with content within a project. These permissions are applied at the folder level in the Content page and affect the both visibility and access of data within Content and within Workspaces.
There are three content permission levels:
Can View – can see the content but cannot make changes.
Can Edit – can modify content but has some restrictions.
Full Access – has complete control over the content.
