Convert DWG to DXF

Using AutoCAD:

  1. Open your DWG file in AutoCAD.

  2. Go to the 'Application Menu' (big "A" in the top-left corner) and click on 'Save As'.

  3. Choose 'Drawing Exchange Format (*.dxf)' from the 'Files of type' dropdown list.

  4. Choose the location to save the DXF file and click 'Save'.

Using a Conversion Tool:

  1. Go to an online conversion tool like Zamzar or Convertio.

  2. Upload your DWG file.

  3. Choose DXF as the output format.

  4. Start the conversion and download the DXF file once it's complete.
