Ensure your designs align with real-world conditions by visualising them in Sensat. Detect clashes, check feasibility, and validate against site constraints - all within the Sensat platform.

1) Set up your scene

In your Workspace, make sure that all of the layers needed for your assessment are turned on. For example, as well as your reality data you may need to see contextual data (e.g. flood risks, ancient woodlands etc.) or the locations of other proposed designs.

2) Evaluate your options

For example, you may want to:

  • Check visually: Look for any obvious clashes or inconsistencies.

  • Take measurements: Measure distances to key features, or calculate the volume of material to be removed or added using the cut-and-fill tool.

3) Duplicate + reposition your markups or models

You can duplicate and/or reposition markups or models to explore different scenarios and record alternative options.

Record your findings or the difference between your different options, by:

  • Renaming versions for clarity.

  • Adding comments or descriptions.

  • Applying colours and icons.

  • Adding timeline dates to show progression or planning stages.

4) Share your work

Presentations help you share insights with teammates and stakeholders in a structured, interactive way.

A Presentation is a collection of interactive frames that lets you guide others through your project step-by-step. When viewing a Presentation, tools are hidden from the interface to minimise distractions. However, you can still navigate the scene, hover over markups, and open attachments for more detail.
