What is the Zone tool?
The Zone tool allows you to measure an area or to annotate an area of interest within your project site.
How to use the Zone tool
Select the zone icon in the left-hand toolbar.
Navigate to the area of your project that you want to measure or annotate.
Single-click to generate the first point.
Move the cursor and single click again to create the subsequent points of your polygon.
Double-click (or press enter) to create the final point and finish the Zone markup.
Your measurement will be saved as a post in the Layer manager.
Both the 3D surface area and the 2D (projected) horizontal area are reported for all zone markups:
7. After you have created your markups, there are a variety of different ways you can edit them, you can:
change the name of markup*
change the icon or colour (this can be done for individual markups or in bulk).
add start & end dates so that it is linked to the timeline.
add a description*
add attachments*
