How to create a Sensat account and manage your personal details and password.

Creating your Sensat account

  1. Click the link on your invite email.

  2. Follow the prompts to enter your personal details.

  3. Take the tour of the platform to get familiar with your project.

Managing your personal details

  1. Click your name on the left navigation panel to open the user settings.

  2. Click on your profile photo to update it.

  3. Use the Date format drop-down to update the way dates are displayed across the Platform for you. Your date format can be:

    1. DD MMM YYYY e.g. 14 Dec 2023 (default)

    2. DD-MM-YYYY e.g. 14-12-2023

    3. MM-DD-YYYY e.g. 12-14-2023

  4. Update the way your units are displayed for you in the Platform using the Units drop-down.

    1. Metric (default)

    2. Imperial

      Note: All of these settings apply only to you across all of your Sensat projects.

Password settings

  1. If you have forgotten your password or want to update it, click the "Forgot password?" link on the login page to generate a reset email.

The log in pop-up displays a 'forgot password?' underneath the password box.

2. Enter the email you used to sign up for Sensat’s platform and click "Send email".

The next pop-up will ask for your emailadress. This also contains a 'Send email' button in the bottom.

3. Open the email you have received from us with the subject, "Reset your password" and click "Reset Password".

4. Create your new password and then click "Confirm".

5. Click "Reset password" and you will be taken into the Sensat platform and your new password will be saved.

Password Security

Password strength is important to protect your account. Our password policy will only accept passwords that match the following criteria:

  • Password must be at least 8 characters long

  • Password must contain at least 3 of:

    • Lowercase and uppercase letters

    • Numbers

    • Special characters (!@#$%^&*)

  • Passwords must not be part of the password dictionary

  • Passwords must not contain any part of the user’s personal data

    • This includes the user’s name, surname, username, nickname, email

  • Passwords must be different from the last 3 passwords used
