Below is a step-by-step guide on how to geo-reference a file in Autodesk Revit:

  1. Check if your model is georeferenced correctly. You can do this by using the spot coordinate tool (click on a feature to get the XYZ coordinates) and check that the coordinates match those of your project by using the Point Tool within Sensat.

  2. If your data is incorrectly georeferenced (or not georeferenced at all) you can move it into place manually using the Specify coordinates at point tool.

    1. Click a point in your model with a known XYZ coordinate (you may be able to obtain this from the Sensat platform) and change the coordinates in the pop up box.

    2. Click OK and use the spot coordinates tool again to check it has moved correctly.
