How to navigate in Sensat

How to navigate in Sensat, using a mouse, keyboard or touchscreen, and how to navigate from a first-person perspective

1. Navigating using a mouse

  1. Click and drag to pan your view

  2. Scroll to zoom in and out.

  3. Press Shift while dragging to tilt or rotate your view

  4. Double-click on a location to centre and zoom in.

2. Navigating using a keyboard

  1. Use the arrow keys to pan your view.

  2. Press Shift while using the arrow keys to tilt and rotate your view

  3. Press the +/- keys to zoom in and out.

3. Navigating from a first-person view perspective

To enter Look-around mode and navigate from a first-person perspective:

  1. Click on the Look around button located on the bottom right-hand side of your project; or

  2. Use the keyboard shortcut β€˜c’.

Navigating when in Look around mode:

Using your mouse:

  1. Click and drag to rotate.

  2. Scroll to zoom in and out.

  3. Double-click on a location to centre and zoom in.

Using your keyboard:

  1. Use the WASD or arrow keys to move horizontally in translation (at a fixed height).

  2. Use the RF keys to move up and down (at a fixed point).

  3. Use the +/- keys to zoom in and out.

4. Navigating using a touchscreen

  1. One finger drag to pan around.

  2. Two-finger pinch to zoom in and out.

  3. Two-finger rotate to rotate the map.

  4. Two-finger drag up and down to tilt.
